Under normal weather conditions, the wind cannot blow a PlexiDor open.

The door has a spring that keeps panels closed up to wind speeds of about 30 miles per hour. If you’re expecting a storm with strong wind gusts, you may want to lock the PlexiDor and attach the security plate.
